opening attachments?
When I try to open an email attachment (for instance) 2007 Avgs.xlr, I click scan and download, download, open and it says unknown file path for 2007 [1].xlr and will not open it, even though I may have sent it (cc'd) to myself.

What OS?
The .Xlr Extension means that the file needs a particular program to open this file. If you DO have this program, then you need to set the extension to always use this program to open these files with this extension.
When you right click on a file with this extension (with MS OSes), you should get a menu - one item should say "Open with" - then when you have clicked, it will ask you to set a program to do this.
If this doesn't work, I'm sorry I can't help you with the info supplied.
