When using a video cam attached to my electric rc heli, there's a ripple effect on the video.?
I believe this is either due to the magnetic field generated buy the motor or electric interferance.
Can I shield the camera in any way without adding too much weight?
It's a flycamone v2 camera.
How about using some of the foil shielding that's used in the control cavities on electric guitars?
You should be able to get some from a music store and it should be quite cheap.
A couple of layers of that would do the trick I think and the weight wouldn't even feature as an issue.
