Whats the Craziest Fishing Story you have?
I'll give you mine
So I go out in my backyard in Jersey in the early summer and I have a small Mepps spinner on...I see a watersnake swimming the top of the water (maybe 3 feet long) I continue fishing andI hook onto a 16inch Pickerel off the bank...I reel it in and the snake follows the pickerel to the bank I am fishing and it bites the fish right in the back leaving a huge bite mark on the fishes back...I swing the fish in the air like I'm at a rodeo but it wouldn't let go...I finally get it off and think to myself "WTF just happened"...not much of a story but its something...you guys probably have better stories
Was fly fishing a local river in late spring. Was having difficulties due to the number of canoes that were coming down the river. Two of the canoes traveling together that passed me have 4 ladies in them. They disappeared about the bend and I continued fishing. As I worked my way down stream around the bend, I came face to cheeks with the four ladies relieving themselves at the top of the high banks above the river.
